Lately, buyers want higher dirt-holding capacity without jacking up differential pressure. E-fleets and extended-drain diesel fleets are pushing suppliers for media that survives higher soot loading and longer service intervals. We validate media in ISO 4548-12 rigs for full-flow oil filters and run multi-pass per ISO 16889 when customers specify hydraulic crossovers. Air permeability per ISO 5636-5/TAPPI T460, pore distribution via bubble-point, and resin pick-up gravimetrically. Typical result snapshot: initial efficiency 60–75% @ 10 µm; ≥99% @ 30 µm; dust capacity 6–12 g/0.1 m² at 100 kPa ΔP—actual cartridges shift these numbers, obviously.
